So after my last post regarding my neglect of this blog, I've done it AGAIN. I haven't posted in NINE DAYS. *gasp* But miraculously enough, I haven't died, passed out, been hit by lightening or eaten alive by bigfoot for my lack of postage, so I think that I'm going to be okay. During that time, I have organized my "stuff" folder,
written some,
aaaaaand read this book, and this one, and this one. So I ask, what have you read, and what have you written- lately?

Neglect, neglect, neglect.
I will not bore you with my thoughts at the moment. They involve school, and writing my screenplay (Now called After Ocie) which is happening v e r y s l o w l y.... and *coughnot* editing March. I also started/embarked on another story idea (on top of the other 12, of course) about a girl moving to a small town in Washington. No vampires, I promise. In fact, I really have only one otherworld/paranormal piece- most of what I write is real-life YA fiction, though there is also another non-fic YA piece in talks at the moment. Food is involved.

It's April, fools!
So I made an unofficial resolution to NOT do Script Frenzy, because I have an incredibly hectic schedule. Guess what I did on March 31st at 10pm? Signed up for Script Frenzy. For those of you who don't know, Script Frenzy is like a younger sibling to NaNoWriMo; but instead of writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days, your challenge is to write a 100 page script/screenplay/anything that has lines in 30 days. I'm three pages and 4 days in. This is where I hide. I'm going to do my best to finish, (darn stubborn Irish roots) but I'm much less motivated for "Screnzy" than I was for NaNoWriMo, largely because all of my writing in the past has been written in story format, eventually to be a novel, rather than chunk format, to be acted out according to stage directions. But, no matter.
If you happen to follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed my tiny and very not-dramatic "prank..." I stated that I would no longer be working on March, as it was simply too much work. If anyone worried, don't... It's not true. Not that I've gotten any real writing done lately, but I'm still technically "working" on it.. Quotes are due in that some days all I can do is open Scrivener and stare at the words for awhile.
But, all in all, I'm writing.. I guess.
