Kendra and Owen's story. Rare WIP excerpt!

Alaska Junction is hanging out, taking a breather. In the mean time, I'm working on a new story, revolving around two artists who fall madly in love. And then life happens. Here is a short excerpt, or... Flash. This might not even make it into the final version, but I love it, and so I shall post it!

I dream of a room with white walls. Not white due to lack of imagination, mind you. White, open and welcoming, full of possibility. I dream of paints and brushes, ready to come alive to fill the space only contained by the white walls. Detail in each flower, gleam and sparkle to the stars calling out from their galaxies. I dream of filling the walls with moments from my life. And for the first time, I sit here in my room, walls the color of lilacs, and I imagine someone with me. I see him filling the white walls, not just with paint, but with a life. I see his hands, smudging a mark, brushing away his pre-sketched lines. I see his shoes, speckled with paint drops. But I don't see a room anymore. I see a home.

Hope you enjoyed it! I'll try and blog again soon. :)
